Soccer Recap: Morton Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Morton can now relate to. They came up short against the Pass Christian Pirates on Saturday, falling 4-0. The shutout was out of character for the Panthers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in November of 2024.

Morton has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Pass Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6-1.

Morton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pass Christian, they will challenge Sumrall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pass Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season.
