Baseball Recap: Delta Comes Up Short

Delta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Carbon Dinos. That's two games in a row now that the Rabbits have lost by exactly two runs.

Delta saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashton Stefanoff, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases. That's the most hits Stefanoff has posted over his last 12 matches.

Delta's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Carbon, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Delta will host Emery at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Delta is facing Emery at the right time seeing as Emery is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Carbon, they will welcome Richfield at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
