Softball Recap: Marple Newtown Wins Going Away Against Radnor

Marple Newtown entered their tilt with Radnor on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Raptors get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory. The match marked the Fightin' Tigers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Marple Newtown got a massive performance out of Grace Corner, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and two runs. Those four RBI gave Corner a new career-high. Nicole Semerjian was another key player, scoring three runs while going 1-for-3.

Marple Newtown always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .679. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Marple Newtown pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Radnor, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
