Volleyball Recap: Cedar Cliff Comes Up Short

Cedar Cliff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Mechanicsburg Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Cedar Cliff's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Mechanicsburg, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cedar Cliff is set to take on their familiar foe Chambersburg at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Mechanicsburg will face off against rival State College at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
