Baseball Recap: Bothell Victorious

Bothell won the last time they faced Inglemoor and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Cougars came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 6-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Kam Matthews looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Bothell saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Herrick, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Bothell was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Inglemoor only posted a batting average of .160.

Bothell now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Inglemoor, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Bothell and Inglemoor will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Cougars will take on rival Issaquah at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Inglemoor is set to challenge their familiar foe Mercer Island at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
