Softball Recap: Albany Falcons vs. Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks
Albany extended their losing streak to five on Monday, dropping their season record down to 1-6 in the process. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Blue Streaks from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.
As for Saratoga Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games.
