Baseball Game Preview: Caprock Longhorns vs. Burleson Elks

The Caprock Longhorns will take on the Burleson Elks in a tournament on Saturday.

Caprock fell victim to Brewer and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Bears.

Caprock saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Perez, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Burleson sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over Grapevine on February 4th. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Elks.

Caprock's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Burleson, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
