Basketball Recap: Bourgade Catholic Comes Up Short

Bourgade Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. The contest between them and the Chino Cowboys didn't end well, with the Bourgade Catholic Golden Eagles falling 80-61. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (55), the Golden Eagles still had to take the loss.

It was another big night for Shawn Jamison Jr, who posted 39 points in addition to six boards and six steals for Chino. That's the most points Jamison Jr has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Yousef Ihmud, who put up 23 points.

Bourgade Catholic now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Chino, they moved to 2-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Bourgade Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 98-34 loss against Spring Valley on the 19th. As for Chino, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 86-47 defeat against Capital on the 19th.
