Basketball Recap: Cristo Rey Jesuit Comes Up Short

Cristo Rey Jesuit lost against Ellison back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cristo Rey Jesuit Cristeros had to suffer through a 98-19 loss at the hands of the Ellison Lions. The matchup marked the Cristeros' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Cristo Rey Jesuit has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Ellison, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-7.

Cristo Rey Jesuit wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-32 victory against Spry Community Links on the 3rd. As for Ellison, they will take on Ida Crown Jewish Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
