The Des Arc Eagles will take on the Bigelow Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Des Arc comes in on five and Bigelow on four.
On Tuesday, Des Arc earned an 8-3 win over McCrory.

Kaylee McDonald spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 20 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Emma Buckner, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Bailey RoBison, who went 2-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Monday Bigelow sidestepped Dardanelle for an 11-10 victory.
Addyson Jordan was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Maebry Pattillo, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Bigelow's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Des Arc, their victory bumped their record up to 17-6.
Bigelow's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. Des Arc has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Bigelow, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.9 strikeouts. Will Des Arc keep running through batters, or will the Panthers buck the trend?
Des Arc came out on top in a nail-biter against Bigelow in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, sneaking past 3-1. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
