Baseball Recap: Harbor Teacher Takes a Loss

Harbor Teacher blew Gardena out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Gardena got their revenge. The Harbor Teacher Monarchs fell just short of the Gardena Panthers by a score of 8-6. The Monarchs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Harbor Teacher's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Gardena, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Harbor Teacher will take on Fremont at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fremont's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Harbor Teacher's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Gardena, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Gardena Panthers face off against University Wildcats at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
