Camden County won against Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech on Tuesday with 33 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Bruins walked away with a 33-23 victory over the Cape Hatteras Hurricanes. The Bruins have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hurricanes, too.

Camden County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Leilah Roberson, who posted 11 points along with five rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Amaya Allen, who scored eight points and four steals.

Despite the loss, Cape Hatteras still got an impressive performance from Eryn Ratliff, who put up eight points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Ella Snead, who had five points and three steals.

Camden County's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Cape Hatteras, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Camden County will challenge First Flight at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cape Hatteras, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Manteo at 6:00 p.m. on December 1.
