Jasper had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Saturday. They came out on top against the Edgewood Mustangs by a score of 2-0.

Jasper easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13.

Jasper's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Caroline Schipp led the charge by getting six digs and five aces. That's the most aces Schipp has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Nora Breitwieser, who had ten digs and two assists.

They weren't the only good servers: Jasper was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in six consecutive contests.

When it comes to explaining why Edgewood lost, don't look at Kelianys Rosario-Aguilar. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and three assists.

Jasper's record now sits at 20-8. As for Edgewood, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 16-12.

Jasper didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Silver Creek on the 11th. As for Edgewood, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Bloomington North on the 11th.
