Basketball Recap: Westampton Tech Takes a Loss

Westampton Tech was the 61-53 winner over Neptune when they last played one another back in March of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Westampton Tech Panthers were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 55-54 to the Neptune Scarlet Fliers.

Neptune's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Christa Ramos led the charge by almost dropping a double-double with 15 points and nine boards. Ramos is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Bre Evans, who posted 15 points and five rebounds.

Westampton Tech's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Neptune, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Westampton Tech nor Neptune have any future games scheduled.
