Volleyball Recap: Spring Lake Wins Going Away Against Holland

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Zeeland East, Spring Lake was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Holland Dutch. The victory continues a trend for the Lakers in their matchups with the Dutch: they've now won four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 25-5.

Spring Lake found their leader in sophomore Ashlynn O'Donnell, who had 12 assists and seven digs. O'Donnell is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Spring Lake's win bumped their record up to 10-16-2. As for Holland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18-1 record this season.
