Soccer Game Preview: Trinity vs. Madisonville

Trinity hasn't had much luck against Madisonville recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Trinity has given up an average of 4.7 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Trinity duked it out with Palestine on Wednesday. The Tigers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 14-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Trinity were already down 12-1.

Meanwhile, Madisonville didn't have quite enough to beat Bryan on January 13th and fell 2-1.

Madisonville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1.

Trinity suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Madisonville in their previous matchup back in February of 2025. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
