Volleyball Recap: Calvary's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road + How To Watch

After losing to Greenview the last time they met, Calvary decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Saints walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs on Thursday. The game was the first time the Saints have beaten the Bulldogs on their court since October 7, 2019.

While Calvary won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23.

Ainsley Johnson paced Calvary's offense, picking up ten kills. Johnson got some help from Elesha Levine and her 14 assists. Johnson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Calvary's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 18-7. As for Greenview, they dropped their record down to 18-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Calvary wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Nokomis on the 25th. As for Greenview, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Meridian on the 27th.
