Basketball Recap: King's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

King came into Friday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past the St. Joseph Flyers with a 31-26 victory on Friday.

King's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gianna Blanco, who posted ten points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Rihana Gonzales, who put up four points.

King's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-20. As for St. Joseph, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King will venture away from home to face off against Corpus Christi Moody at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Joseph, they will head out on the road to challenge Saint Mary's Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
