While Carson City-Crystal's victory against Lakeview wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 6-5 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

Carson City-Crystal's victory bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Lakeview, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-20.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carson City-Crystal will head out to square off against St. Charles at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lakeview, they will venture away from home to take on Montabella at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
