Fivay not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 1, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Gulf Buccaneers 3-0. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

While Fivay won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 25-19.

Libby Smith paced Fivay's offense, picking up eight kills. Smith got some help from Faith Lawson and her 12 assists. Lawson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Fivay's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Gulf, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Fivay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Pasco on the 26th. As for Gulf, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Anclote on the 25th.
