Basketball Recap: Union Comes Up Short

Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 71-28 loss at the hands of the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 56-23 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Union's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Gladbrook-Reinbeck, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-3.

Union wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 61-24 loss against West Marshall on the 15th. As for Gladbrook-Reinbeck, they will challenge B-G-M on February 18th.
