Football Recap: Adryoun Ad Stewart's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Hixson over White County + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hixson can now relate to. They fell 20-14 to the White County Warriors on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Warriors are ranked 93rd).

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Adryoun Ad Stewart, who rushed for 78 yards and one score.

Cole Sims continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for White County, rushing for 163 yards and a pair of TDs. Sims has become a key player for the Warriors: the team is 7-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

Hixson now has a losing record of 5-6. As for White County, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

As of now, neither Hixson nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
