Volleyball Recap: Round Rock's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Round Rock waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Randall Raiders. The Dragons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

Kerrington Thornton paced Round Rock's offense, picking up nine kills. Thornton got some help from Nila Beauchamp and her 13 assists. Finally, Thornton was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Round Rock's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Randall, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Round Rock has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Northwest on the 16th. As for Randall, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Stony Point on the 16th.
