Gators land top wide receiver, two others.
Florida scored a major recruiting victory on Saturday, landing a verbal commitment from 2013 wide receiver
Ahmad Fulwood.
Fulwood, among the nation's Top 5 receivers, made the announcement via Twitter.
"Just committed to the University of Florida #Gatornation,"
he tweeted shortly after 4 p.m. EST.
Fulwood enjoyed a monster junior season for
Bishop Kenny (Jacksonville, Fla.). He hauled in 46 passes for 1,141 yards and 22 touchdowns, earning
U.S. Air Force All-American honors in the process.
He chose Florida over Georgia and a host of other offers.
Fulwood's teammate, 2014 quarterback
John Wolford, is also one to watch. He threw for over 2,300 yards and 30 touchdowns as a sophomore.
He's garnering early interest from Florida and a number of other schools.

Florida also received two other commitments today, from
King (Lithonia, Ga.) offensive lineman
Joshua Outlaw and
St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, N.J.) cornerback
Tre Bell.
Outlaw, who had offers from various SEC schools, gives the Gators their second offensive lineman from the class of 2013.
Bell, from the alma mater of former Florida defensive back Will Hill, was a bit of a surprise for Gator fans.
He had been considered a lean to Notre Dame before taking a visit to Gainesville, and before the
Irish scored a commitment on Wednesday from cornerback
Devin Butler.
The 5-foot-9, 170-pound Bell, who also lines up at wide receiver, shined on defense as a junior, recording 36 tackles and three interceptions.
