Soccer Recap: Riverbend Takes a Loss

Riverbend's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Colonial Forge Eagles by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Riverbend have lost by just one goal.

Riverbend dropped their record down to 1-4-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Colonial Forge, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Riverbend will square off against rival Stafford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Colonial Forge is set to face off against their familiar foe Brooke Point at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
