Volleyball Recap: Lowell Catholic Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Lowell Catholic was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Innovation Academy on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crusaders lost 3-0 to the Dracut Middies on Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-10, 25-20.

Chloe Germain was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had four aces and two assists. Those four aces gave her a new career-high. Carmela Brunelle also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Lowell Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for Dracut, they moved to 5-8 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Coming up, Lowell Catholic will be playing in front of their home fans against Greater Lawrence Tech at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dracut, they will host Lowell at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
