After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Regent Prep, Drumright was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Olive Wildcats 11-3. The win continues a trend for the Tornadoes in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won eight in a row.
Garett Wright was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Joe Mumford also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.
