After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Regent Prep, Drumright was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Olive Wildcats 11-3. The win continues a trend for the Tornadoes in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won eight in a row.

Garett Wright was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Joe Mumford also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.

Drumright always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .655. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Drumright's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Olive, they moved to 6-7 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Drumright will venture away from home to square off against Meeker at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meeker will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Drumright surely won't give up without a fight. As for Olive, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Olive Wildcats take on Shidler Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
