Villa Park and Troy are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Spartans will take on the Warriors at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Villa Park will be strutting in after a win while Troy will be coming in after a defeat.

Villa Park is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Yorba Linda on Monday as they made off with a 16-6 victory. The Spartans not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 7th.

Meanwhile, Troy came up short against Valencia on Monday and fell 6-2. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Villa Park's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Troy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Villa Park took their victory against Troy in their previous matchup back in March of 2022 by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
