Soccer Recap: Ragsdale Comes Up Short

After flying high against Western Guilford last Thursday, Ragsdale came back down to earth. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northern Guilford Nighthawks on Tuesday. Ragsdale have struggled against Northern Guilford recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Ragsdale's goal came courtesy of Gabby Graham, who's now up to eight this season.

Ragsdale's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Northern Guilford, their win bumped their record up to 8-6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ragsdale will face off against Page at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northern Guilford, they will square off against Southeast Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northern Guilford will be up against Southeast Guilford's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.92 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
