Basketball Recap: Cloudland Comes Up Short

Cloudland suffered their biggest defeat since March 6, 2024 on Monday. They lost 56-36 to the Cosby Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Highlanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-50 back in November of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Cloudland and nudges their season record down to 10-10. As for Cosby, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Unaka the next time they take the court. Cosby will host Unaka at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Cloudland will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
