Volleyball Recap: Mission College Prep Takes a Loss

Mission College Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Atascadero Greyhounds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Saturday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 17-25, 25-13.

Mission College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Atascadero, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mission College Prep will square off against Arroyo Grande at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Atascadero, they will take on Morro Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
