Soccer Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the George Washington Patriots, falling 7-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lincoln of the 6-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for George Washington, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-6-1.

Lincoln didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 loss against Montbello on the 23rd. As for George Washington, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Regis Groff on the 23rd.
