Baseball Recap: Tyler Clement Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Adrian

Tecumseh was forced to take a big loss against they on Monday, they got the better of them on Wednesday. They never let the Adrian Maples get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted since April 17th.

Rocco Williams made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Williams was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Tecumseh's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 2-1 (and 5-7-2 when he doesn't).

Williams wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Clement, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Tecumseh's record now sits at 7-8-2. As for Adrian, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tecumseh will face off against Ypsilanti at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Adrian, they will take on Dexter at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Dreadnaughts' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Maples' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
