Baseball Recap: McAlester Buffaloes vs. Eufaula Ironheads

McAlester stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. Everything went their way against the Eufaula Ironheads as the McAlester Buffaloes made off with a 12-4 win. The victory was familiar territory for McAlester who now have three in a row.

Ethan Watkins made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Watkins was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with a home run, two stolen bases, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Spencer Stinchcomb and Brayden Phillips did most of the damage at the plate: Stinchcomb scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4, while Phillips scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Ganon Mullins, who scored a run and stole a base.
