Alamo Navajo waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Carrizozo Grizzlies by a score of 3-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory two weeks ago.

Alamo Navajo had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 9-25, 25-23, 25-15, 25-12.

Alamo Navajo's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Carrizozo, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Alamo Navajo is set to square off against their familiar foe Vaughn at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Carrizozo will take on rival Mountainair at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
