Volleyball Recap: St. Paul Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

There's no place like home for St. Paul, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Doniphan-Trumbull Cardinals on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While St. Paul won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-23, 25-17.

St. Paul was led to victory by Delaney Jennings and Keislyn Poss. Jennings had nine digs, while Poss had 15 digs and five assists. Poss has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 19 times she's played.

St. Paul pushed their record up to 15-8 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Doniphan-Trumbull, their loss dropped their record down to 11-13.

St. Paul has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Wisner-Pilger on the 11th. As for Doniphan-Trumbull, after both having extra time off, they and Sandy Creek will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 20th.
