Byron Nelson put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Redondo Union Sea Hawks by a score of 2-0. The Bobcat have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Sea Hawks, too.

While Byron Nelson might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Redondo Union scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19.

Byron Nelson can attribute much of their success to Savannah Sterna, who had nine digs and two aces. That's the most aces Sterna has posted over her last nine games.

Byron Nelson's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Redondo Union, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Byron Nelson will take on Keller Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Bobcat their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Redondo Union, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Long Beach Poly at 6:15 p.m. on the 26th.
