Basketball Recap: Health Sciences Comes Up Short

Health Sciences was the 69-49 winner over Horizon Prep when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The matchup between the Health Sciences Serpents and the Horizon Prep Lions didn't end well, with the Health Sciences Serpents falling 58-40. The Serpents have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Health Sciences' defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Horizon Prep, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Health Sciences will square off against Cristo Rey on Friday. As for Horizon Prep, they will head out on the road to square off against Preuss UCSD at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Preuss UCSD's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
