After flying high against Morgan City on Friday, Vandebilt Catholic came back down to earth. The Vandebilt Catholic Terriers fell 62-53 to the John Curtis Christian Patriots on Saturday. The Terriers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Vandebilt Catholic's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-8. As for John Curtis Christian, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 29-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vandebilt Catholic will challenge Lutcher at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lutcher knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Vandebilt Catholic likes a good challenge. As for John Curtis Christian, they will take on St. Augustine at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Augustine will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something John Curtis Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
