Basketball Recap: Atlantic Shores Christian Takes a Loss

Atlantic Shores Christian lost against Hampton Christian Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks fell 41-32 to the Hampton Christian Academy Warriors. While the Seahawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 12-6 in the first quarter.

It was another big night for Mahdy Sigler, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 17 boards for Hampton Christian Academy. Those 17 points gave Sigler a new career-high. Jayla Crosby was another key player, putting up nine points along with eight rebounds and five steals.

Atlantic Shores Christian now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Hampton Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Atlantic Shores Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 38-34 loss against Greenbrier Christian Academy on the 31st. As for Hampton Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 42-29 victory against Denbigh Baptist Christian on the 31st.
