Soccer Recap: United vs. Maplewood
There's no place like home for United, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Maplewood Rockets by a score of 5-3 on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Golden Eagles needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.
They hit Maplewood with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from

The win got United back to even at 3-3. As for Maplewood, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. United will head out to challenge Columbiana at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbiana is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.2 goals per game this season. As for Maplewood, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Grand Valley at 7:00 p.m. on September 11th.
