Football Game Preview: Pauls Valley Panthers vs. Plainview Indians

The Pauls Valley Panthers will take on the Plainview Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pauls Valley hasn't scored more than seven points for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Pauls Valley managed to slip by Kingfisher the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers were dealt a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Yellowjackets on Friday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plainview). They were the clear victors by a 42-21 margin over Purcell on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won four in a row.

Pauls Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Plainview, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Pauls Valley took their victory against Plainview in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 30-6 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
