Softball Recap: Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Comes Up Short

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah was the 13-3 winner over Manitowoc Lutheran when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Resorters fell 9-6 to the Lancers on Tuesday.

Trista Hassinger and Ava Conrad did some serious damage despite the final result: Hassinger scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Conrad went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that Hassinger snagged this season.

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Manitowoc Lutheran, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Coming up, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah will head out to challenge Howards Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Manitowoc Lutheran will be paying especially close attention to the Resorters' match: after the Resorters faces off against Oakfield, they'll take on Manitowoc Lutheran again at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th.
