Baseball Recap: Everman Takes a Loss

After flying high against Venus last Saturday, Everman came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Cleburne Yellowjackets by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 15-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2018.

Everman has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season. As for Cleburne, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-7.

While Everman had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
