Soccer Recap: Glen Allen Comes Up Short

Glen Allen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Godwin Eagles, falling 5-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Godwin this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in April.

Glen Allen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11-1. As for Godwin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2-1.

Looking ahead, Glen Allen will head out to take on Freeman at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Freeman's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Godwin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Prince George at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Prince George will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Godwin surely won't give up without a fight.
