After a string of five wins, Oconto's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost to the Southern Door Eagles at home by a 81-64 margin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 76-74 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Oconto's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4. As for Southern Door, their victory was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

Oconto and Southern Door should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings.
