Basketball Game Preview: Spring Valley Grizzlies vs. Durango Trailblazers

The Spring Valley Grizzlies will venture away from home to square off against the Durango Trailblazers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Spring Valley is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Spring Valley was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 68-67 to Arbor View.

Meanwhile, Durango faced Centennial in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Durango had to suffer through a 82-48 loss at the hands of Centennial. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Trailblazers have suffered since January 10, 2024.

Durango has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season. As for Spring Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

Spring Valley came up short against Durango in their previous matchup on January 4th, falling 54-49. Can Spring Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
