Football Recap: Burrillville Wins High-Profile Game Against Mt. Pleasant + How To Watch

Burrillville faced Mt. Pleasant in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Broncos were the clear victors by a 35-12 margin over the Kilties. The Broncos' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Burrillville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brayden Johnson, who rushed for 49 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Clayton Charette, who rushed for 61 yards and one score.

Burrillville didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Mt. Pleasant to a completion percentage of just 45.8%. The Broncos weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 62.5%.
