Football Recap: Randolph Beats Cohasset for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Randolph put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 28-27 W against the Cohasset Skippers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Devils also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Cohasset lost, don't look at Gus Greene. Despite the final result, he rushed for 164 yards and two TDs. Greene's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 123 rushing yards. Nolan Flaherty was another key player, picking up 34 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Randolph's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Cohasset, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Randolph will venture away from home to challenge Tech Boston Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tech Boston Academy's defense has only allowed 9.5 points per game this season, so Randolph's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Cohasset, they will head out on the road to face off against Carver at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
