Volleyball Recap: Latin's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Latin waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Beacon Academy Trailblazers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Romans also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.

Latin easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-20.

Latin's victory bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Beacon Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Latin will head out on the road to take on St. Laurence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beacon Academy, they will host Christian Heritage Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
